Closed Cell Elastomeric Thermal Insulation – This product is an expanded, closed cell, sulfurcured rubber type compound. It contains synthetic polymer fillers plasticizers and rubber chemicals.
The main applications are insulation for heated and cold water services, heating systems, chilled water lines, refrigerant pipes and process pipelines. The product has Zero ODP, free of ozone-depleting gases in manufacture and composition. Zero Global Warming Potential (GWP). It is fibre free and the closed cell structure means no additional vapour barrier is required and the built in vapour barrier reduces risk of corrosion under the insulation.
